Understanding my get shredded ebook


  • If anyone can help me, when protein, carbs, and fat are outline there are two numbers that have g for grams next to it. I am trying to find out what the difference is between them. I know what is the amount of grams needed but what is the other. Example below. Thanks

     

    Protein = 1.2g / 240g / 960
    Carbs = 1.1g / 220g / 880
    Fat = 0.3g / 60g / 540
    Total calories = 2,380

    What is the 1.2, 1.1, and .3 vs the 240, 220, and 60



  • The 1.2g, 1.1g, and .3 grams are the amounts you use to figure your individual macros for protein,  carbs and fats. The 240, 220, and 60 numbers are just examples he used if your lean body weight was 200lbs.  So for example, if you were using 200lbs as your lean weight: for protein it would be 1.2 x 200 which is 240, carbs would be 1.1 x 200 which is 220, and fats would be .3 x200 which would be 60.
