Jays Shredded Program Carb Overload !!

  • i bought the 16 week shredded program and ran into a little snag. since i am at 200lb lean this is the math i should be using.

    the Carb amount is huge.. like 3 cans of beans a day big. just wondering if something may be off.. typo or math wise. Protein lines up perfectly just that is alot of carbs

    any thoughts ?

    Thanks
    Danny

    **200lbs lean body weight example**

    Large Body Part Training Days:

    Protein = 1.2g / 240g / 960

    Carbs = 1.4g / 280g / 1,120

    Fat = 0.4g / 80g / 720

    Total calories = 2,800

    Small Body Part Training Days:

    Protein = 1.2g / 240g / 960

    Carbs = 1.2g / 240g / 960

    Fat = 0.4g / 80g / 720

    Total calories = 2,640

    Non-Training Days:

    Protein = 1.2g / 240g / 960

    Carbs = 1g / 200g / 800

    Fat = 0.2g / 40g / 360

    Total calories = 2,120

  • Hi Danny,

    I’ve been using these programs for 5+ years, and if you calculated your lean muscle mass correctly, then the math looks good. Food can feel overwhelming at first, until your metabolism gets going. If it still feels overwhelming after 2+ weeks, try switching your carb source to something more calorie-dense.

    If that still doesn’t help, ask in the Cutler Club group.

    Wishing you the best on your journey.
